Kat Keenan is a recent graduate from Massachusetts College of Art and Design where she studied both Fibers and Ceramics.

 

As an artist, Kat works with a variety of materials she finds in her day to day life. She is inspired by nature and the possibilities of reclaimed objects. Kat also sells ceramic functional ware and fibers related art such as notebooks and home decor.

 

Kat was first introduced to Refuge as a student, where she was inspired to build a life as an artist. She is excited to be a part of Refuge's community and to help make that happen for new students as well.

 

As an educator at Refuge, Kat has taught a beginners ceramic course and a sketchbook to sculpture course.
