A New Chapter: Moving into Our Renovated Space

Nikki Giraffo

July 2023 marked an exciting milestone for Refuge Art School as we moved into our newly renovated space—a dream realized thanks to the unwavering support of our incredible community. This transformation represents more than just a physical change; it’s a renewed commitment to providing a creative haven for our students and families.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Theodore Edson Parker Foundation, whose generous grant funded half of our renovation project. Their belief in our mission and investment in our future played a pivotal role in making this space a reality.

To our dedicated supporters, donors, and families: thank you for believing in our vision. Your contributions, whether through financial aid, time, or words of encouragement, have shaped Refuge into the nurturing community it is today. A special thank you to the volunteers who lent their hands and hearts during the relocation process—your hard work and enthusiasm were truly inspiring.

This space is more than just walls and floors; it’s a place for connection, creativity, and growth. With upgraded facilities, expanded classrooms, and a vibrant environment, we’re now better equipped to serve our students and host transformative programs that inspire the next generation of artists.

We look forward to filling this space with laughter, learning, and limitless creativity. Together, we’ve built more than a school—we’ve built a community, and this new chapter wouldn’t be possible without you.

Here’s to all the exciting memories and masterpieces yet to come! Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
