Our Winter Art Show was more than an exhibition, it was a celebration of creativity, community, and everything our Fall semester students worked so hard to build.
We are incredibly grateful to our instructors Tracy Flynn, Alex DiMauro, Nevaeh Montanez, Peter Fadness, and Courtney Wilson, who poured their time, care, and expertise into guiding students throughout the semester; to our co-instructors Shania Espinal, Nev Morin, Eclipse Hin, Zachary MacIsaac, and Daryan Kong, to our students, who bravely shared their work and stories; and to the families, friends, and community members who showed up in such a big way to support them. The room was full of energy, pride, and love, and it truly showed.
Throughout the evening, guests were able to experience so many facets of what our students explored this semester. From live painting demonstrations by our art students; Lee Malaluan, Lucas Pestauro, and Daryan Kong, to community canvases where attendees were invited to add their own marks and messages, to a joyful mini fashion show showcasing student designed pieces, every corner of the space was alive with creativity and collaboration.

One of the most exciting moments of the night was seeing students sell their work, for some, their very first time doing so. Watching students realize that their ideas, labor, and voices have value is exactly why we do this work.
The turnout was amazing, and the support was deeply felt. Events like this remind our students that their work matters, that they are seen, and that they are part of a community that believes in them. This show marks just one of many milestones we accomplished this semester, but it’s one that holds special meaning because it centers visibility, confidence, and celebration.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this night possible. We are so proud of our students and can’t wait to see where they go next.
