This advanced course is designed for students eager to deepen their artistic practice through personal, concept-driven work in drawing, painting, and sculpture. Students will engage in open-ended projects that challenge them to experiment, explore themes, and build technical skills through the medium of their choice.
The curriculum encourages independent exploration and creative iteration, allowing each artist to work within a unique vision while developing a professional digital portfolio. Students will create an artist’s statement and prepare their work for exhibition, emphasizing presentation skills and professional standards.
Due to the immersive nature of this course, class time will be packed with activity, and students should expect to use open studio hours or work at home to complete projects. This class is for serious, dedicated artists ready to commit to developing their practice and vision.
