This 5-day intensive focuses on completing one to two oil paintings while building a strong understanding of materials and process. Students will explore paint brands, mediums (linseed, walnut oil, mineral spirits, and turpentine), surface preparation, and overall oil painting workflow.
Instruction will focus on both glazing and direct painting techniques, supported by examples from established artists. This intensive is designed for students with prior painting experience. Admission requires a brief interview and submission of previous work.
