Description: 
 
In this course students will learn  how to use and care for clay. Students will learn the fundamentals of pottery such as; underglaze techniques, coil building, pinch pots, and glazing. Students will build their skills of problem solving to turn a sketchbook image into a 3D form. 
 
Sketchbooking, Planning, Materials, Wedging, Timeline of Clay and Firing Process, Underglaze techniques; Sgraffito & Mishima, coil building, slab building, Pinch Pots, fundamentals of glazing.
