Service Description

Do you want to become more comfortable with color and painting? With a new foundation and understanding of mediums and step by step processes, what would you paint? In this course, students will explore the world of color and painting through a variety of mediums and techniques, such as collage, oil pastel, and acrylic paint. Students will learn about basic color theory and apply their understanding to create successful works of art! Students will be encouraged to play and experiment with the color and painting exercises to help them develop a unique style/touch of their own. Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7/16, 7/18, 7/23, 7/25, 7/30 Time: 5-8pm Cost: $325 Requirements for class: -A mixed media sketchbook is a requirement for this course. Students will use their sketchbooks to record various ideas, to experiment with different color palettes, and to create other mixed media works. We reserve the right to cancel any classes that don’t meet minimum student sign up.
