Service Description

Students will be exploring spatial studies through the practice of “plein air,” or “the act of painting outdoors.” Students will learn drawing and painting techniques necessary to capture the energy and feeling of a space while learning the technical elements of drawing landscape and perspective. A special emphasis will be placed on the impressionist era and style. This class is geared towards students looking to build their college portfolio and students interested in building an artistic practice. Dates: Saturdays, 7/13, 7/20, 8/10, 8/17, 8/24 Time: 10-1pm Cost: $325 Requirements for class: -A sketchbook and your favorite pen -Optional: travel-sized watercolor set We reserve the right to cancel any classes that don’t meet minimum student sign up.
