Service Description
In Photographic Storytelling we will explore photography as a medium of storytelling. Students will learn different methods of composition, and the basics of digital color editing while learning how to develop images that are cohesive. Students will be encouraged to develop their own photo story project and will explore different styles of photography: documentary, street, still life, portraiture. Students will study works of contemporary photographers, and keep an image bank/journal of their favorite photographers. Student work will be assessed weekly through group discussions and critiques. (Ages 13-18) Dates: Tuesday’s, 7/16, 7/23, 7/30, 8/6, 8/13 Time: 10-1pm Cost: $325 Requirements for class: -A sketchbook -A smartphone w/ camera, or DSLR camera We reserve the right to cancel any classes that don’t meet minimum student sign up.
