Our 2026 Winter Showcase was a powerful reminder of what happens when community, creativity, and purpose come together in one space. We are still feeling the energy from this incredible night.
We are deeply grateful to every community member (Western Avenue & Taffeta Music Hall), supporter, artist, student, and volunteer who showed up, participated, and helped make this event possible. This showcase was truly powered by our student volunteers, whose dedication, leadership, and heart made the entire night run seamlessly. Watching students step into leadership roles and help create space for others is exactly why we do this work.
To our drawing battle artists and live painters, thank you for bringing your full selves, your skill, and your unique creative voices. The energy you created was electric, and it reminded all of us how powerful live art can be. You helped turn this event into something truly one of a kind. Events like the Winter
Fundraiser are about more than just art on walls or performances in a room. They are about access. They are about creating spaces where artists at every stage feel seen, supported, and valued. They are about building pathways for young artists, emerging artists, and community members who may not otherwise have access to creative education and resources.
We were incredibly grateful to welcome guests such as State Representative Vanna Howard and the Mayor of Lowell Sokhary Chau. Your presence helps amplify our mission and affirms the importance of investing in young artists and accessible arts education.
As 2026 marks Lowell’s 200th Bicentennial Anniversary, our younger students played a meaningful role in this historic moment. Led by Nev, one of our Middle School instructors, they helped manage this year’s Winterfest Youth Mural Competition. During our fundraiser, students proudly showcased their skills and even received a special visit from Lowla.
Because of your support, we are able to continue expanding accessible arts education, providing supplies, mentorship, studio space, and opportunities for artists to grow and share their voices. If you attended, thank you for showing up for this community. If you donated, bid in the auction, or supported from afar, thank you for believing in this mission. The final mural design will be installed on the parking lot walls next to Rockland Trust Bank on Merrimack Street, on view during and after Winterfest. We are so proud to see our students contributing to the cultural landscape of the city they call home.
Photo credits go to Marte Media, thank you for always capturing our best moments!
If you missed the auction, you could still support our work by donating through the link in the button below. Every contribution helps us continue building creative opportunities for our community.
From all of us, thank you for being part of this movement. We are so proud to build this space with you.
