A Community Triumph: Refuge Art School's 3rd Annual Summer Fundraising Festival

We’re truly grateful for the overwhelming support at this year’s Summer Fundraising Festival. Our dunk tank themed around politicians and community leaders offered a fun twist, and they came through, helping us raise crucial funds to keep arts education accessible for youth.

Every dollar counts in fueling our mission. We extend heartfelt thanks to our student volunteers, whose creative energy brought countless engaging activities to festivalgoers such as face painting, temporary henna tattoos, balloon animals, portrait caricatures, and more! Their hard work added dynamic and meaningful connections throughout the event.

A special note of gratitude goes to Tara Hong and Vanna Howard for recognizing our years of dedication to serving young artists in Lowell. Your support strengthens the foundation of our work.

Thank you to our entire community, to Western Avenue Studios for providing the space where the magic of our programs happens. Navigation Brewery, Nibbana Cafe and Sweet Bar ice cream truck for keeping us cool during the heat, our upcoming fall instructors Tracy Flynn & Alex DiMauro for making this festival even more engaging, our amazing raffle item donors, and of course our DJ Jen for keeping the groove going. It takes a village.
